A premium and intuitive shopping experience for accessible fashion
Zudio is one of the fastest growing fashion brands from the house of Tata Trent Ltd. Zudio predominantly caters to younger shoppers between the age group of 16-35 years and includes merchandise for men, women and kids at super affordable rates and accessible locations across India.
Zudio, a rapidly expanding fast fashion brand with over 500 stores in 42 cities across India, aims to capture the online market by offering a premium and intuitive shopping experience for their mass market fashion. The primary goal is to create a responsive website that reflects the brand’s dynamic nature and appeals to its target audience.
The key challenges include to simplify site navigation to enhance user experience by optimising the website to load faster than competitors and other e-commerce platforms. While focusing on ensuring that sizing information is clear and easy to understand, the goal was to design a website that stands out in terms of aesthetics and user flow, surpassing competitors.
Highlighting Zudio’s frequent product launches, emphasising the brand's fresh and ever-evolving offerings was at the core of our challenge.
As a starting point, we conducted an online survey, where we interviewed 68 shoppers to understand their online and offline shopping behaviour. The interviewees included both, men and women.
We conducted an in-depth discovery workshops with key stakeholders at Zudio to gain a comprehensive understanding of the brand, its aesthetics, and the strategic priorities for the e-commerce website. To complement this, we initiated an online survey targeting users who shop both online and offline, allowing us to delve into their shopping behaviours and analyse emerging trends.
After gaining a deep understanding of both the business objectives and user needs, we focused on achieving these goals without compromising the website's usability. Following a comprehensive analysis of competitors’ platforms, we curated a list of potential features to incorporate in the first phase of Zudio’s website.
Once the Information Architecture was finalized through multiple iterations, we began creating wireframes. Adopting a mobile-first approach, we developed wireframes that were then scaled up to responsive desktop screens.

The design approach centered on crafting an appealing, clean, and consistent visual experience that seamlessly aligned with Zudio’s brand identity. We carefully selected images, colors, typography, and other visual elements to evoke a sense of trust, comfort, reassurance, and excitement, ensuring a cohesive experience that promises complete customer satisfaction.
We successfully created an intuitive, premium, and easy-to-navigate shopping experience that prioritizes accessibility for all users. This design not only expanded Zudio's brand reach but also solidified its position as the ultimate one-stop online shopping destination. By customizing CTA buttons, we streamlined the shopping process, delivering a seamless and satisfying user experience.
